What if you go into the artifact area with a full inventory?.If you try to pick up the artifact with a full inventory, you can't, because your inventory is full.If you go in with a full inventory, then drop something, the annoying dog will instantly insert itself into your inventory.If you go into the room, then leave without dropping the annoying dog, it will disappear from your inventory. You can't take it with you elsewhere. If you walk back into the room, it will reappear again.As far as I know, Hush Puppy has no effect here, because annoying dog is not casting dog magic. (Though I can see it being useful for fighting the dog once it patches its fabric).As far as I know, there's no way to obtain the artifact. I haven't even been able to edit it into my inventory by screwing with the save file.
I don't think it actually exists as an item.Maybe in future if we fight the dog and kill it, then we could take the artifact. Though there would probably be dire and/or hilarious ramifications for killing the dog.As a side note, if you call Toriel while the dog's in your inventory,.
